Given the location of the hotel, travelers heading out on a cruise or taking off from Hobby Airport in Houston gave this location a thumbs-up. They also liked the free shuttle service to the airport and found it rather convenient.
Even among people who may not have had the best stay, they had to admit that the staff was extra friendly and sincere when helping travelers. Some remarked that they make travelers feel safe and provide what they need for a pleasant experience.
Guests mentioned that they received a decent price for a clean room that suited the purpose. While they didn't expect a luxury resort, they were grateful for some small extras such as the swimming pool and the breakfast buffet. All in all, many of the guests said that they felt they got what they paid for here.
Some guests remarked that the neighborhood isn't one of the greatest you'll find around Houston. It's close to the South end of town and some guests said they were awoken to police sirens. Although no one staying here was harmed, some visitors say the area looks a little sketchy.
While some visitors really enjoyed it, others said that it could be rather terrible. They mention it had poor selections and the food wasn't very appetizing. However, most visitors didn't seem to have an issue with the breakfast selections.
According to some travelers, rooms that are located by the road get rather noisy at times. So, if you're a light sleeper, you may want to request a room that's away from street.
