Hotel Days Inn Canton (Canton, USA)

Located just off Interstate 275, this hotel was conveniently located for those traveling through the area. Guests also appreciated restaurants and shops within walking distance and the hotel’s proximity to several gambling casinos.

Guests generally found the staff cordial and helpful and said they were knowledgeably about the area and quick to resolve problems.

Days Inn Canton is one of the least expensive hotels in the area and this was the reason cited by most guests for staying at this hotel, some said it was the only reason they chose to stay.

Reports on the overall cleanliness of this establishment were overwhelmingly negative. Some guests said it appeared the rooms had only received a superficial cleaning, others complained of hair and mold on bathroom fixtures, dusts in corners, crumbs on carpets and behind furniture. Additional complaints included rooms not made up and coffee and toiletries not replenished. The hotel’s exterior, lobby, stairwells and hallways also receive negative remarks for their less than immaculate appearance. Many guests said they would not stay again, or recommend it to others.

Guests in non smoking rooms complained about cigarette burns on bedding, furniture and carpet, others complained that their rooms smelled of cigarette smoke. Smoking smells were also noted in public areas.

The complimentary Continental breakfast failed to satisfy most guests who complained that the bread and rolls were stale, the coffee weak and the offerings generally unappetizing. The breakfast area didn’t score any points either with some guests describing it as poorly maintained.
