A large number of guests went out of their way to mention that the beds were exceptionally comfortable. Since there really were very few complaints to speak of, it seems reasonable to conclude that the hotel has selected a mattress with truly broad appeal.
Guests were very happy with the service and attitude of the hotel’s staff. Most were of course on vacation, and were happy to report that the friendly attitude of the front line staff only contributed to the good feelings they had while on vacation.
Guests were pretty happy with the continental breakfast served at the hotel, saying that it offered a decent spread, including some hot items.
Quite a number of guests reported that the breakfast area was simply too small. It seems that when the hotel is full there are not enough seats available to accommodate all the hungry patrons, leaving guests holding a full plate of food and nowhere to enjoy it comfortably.
Guests reported that it had clearly been a very long time since the hotel last saw a full renovation. They said that it was looking very dated and worse for wear and needed a full makeover now should it wish to remain competitive.
The majority of guests who brought up the question of value for money felt that they had received poor value during their stay. The basic problem was that they felt the room rates were a bit above average for its category while the facilities were decidedly below average
