Sterling Resorts Splash Panama City Beach is a great family resort with plenty of water activities for both adults and kids. Adults can take a dip in the outdoor pool and play with the personal motorized watercraft on-site while kids can play at the children's club or swim in the children's pool. The condos are airy and spacious.
The hotel is located close to several top water attractions. Guests can visit nearby facilities for ecotours, golfing and golf lessons, parasailing, kayaking, snorkeling, water skiing, windsurfing, and scuba diving. There are plenty of beach umbrellas to go around so guests don't need to scrounge around for some. There is plenty to do in Panama City. Great to visit even when the weather is not too good.
Many guests have been very pleased with the level of customer service provided by the hotel's staff which goes over and above that by many beach resorts.
Although Sterling Resorts Splash Panama City Beach advertises a bowling alley as one of its on-site recreation facilities, some guests have observed that there has been none available in the hotel for a couple of years now.
A few guests have observed that while the furniture in common spaces such as the lounge and pool area is very modern and of excellent design, the furniture in the condos does not match those high standards.
While the resort has gone to great lengths to provide several fine recreation facilities for the kids, some guests have reported that the kids' pool is lee-than-perfect with water that is too cold as well as frequent sightings of bird poop in the water.
