The hotel is a perfect base for exploring the city according to guests, since there are many attractions within short walking distance. There are hop-on hop-off buses that go around the city, the train station is just a stone throw from the hotel, and there is also a car rental service nearby.
Rooms in this property have some kind of quirkiness that many guests appreciated. They stated that the rooms have an “oldie” world charm without being too shoddy, and are a nice break from the repetitive feel of chain hotels.
The beds' quality was simply exceptional! Almost all guests had an undisturbed sleep, especially since the beds were spacious and the mattresses were not too soft or too hard. Sheets and pillows were also spotless clean and without a trace from previous occupants.
The air conditioning system inside the room was often inefficient according to guests. Although working, they said that the AC units barely made the room any colder. This was a big issue since the area could be quite hot during midday and afternoon.
Breakfast was adequate but fairly basic. Aside from the usual cheese, bread, a few fruits, and coffee, the complimentary meal had nothing else to boast about. Fresh orange juice and cooked meat meals were not available, which disappointed the guests.
A number of guests also complained that they were not able to enjoy the free Internet inside the rooms. They said that although they were able to connect to the Wi-Fi, it was excruciatingly slow and always was disconnected every few seconds.
