A number of guests found the hotel to be very convenient, whether it be a 20 minute walk into the center of town, to the nearby colleges, for a drive up to the nearby San Gabriel Mountains or to jump on the highway to continue their journey.

The hotel has a number of rooms that are adjacent to the on-site bar and nightclub and some guests who were accommodated in these rooms did not get a very good nights' sleep due to the thumping music and the sounds of late night revelers on their doorstep.
