Guests remarked if you're looking for a place to sleep for the night, and little else, this location was perfect. Along with not being too expensive, it also conveniently located by I-65 for those who are travelling on to other locations beyond Montgomery.
Visitors enjoyed the fact that this hotel is located near restaurants so they didn't have to search too far for food. Guests also mentioned that it's near gas stations if you need to fill up before going along on your journey.
Guests stated that they enjoyed the free breakfast. It went beyond the standard Continental breakfast since it provided hot items. Guests commented that the taste ranged anywhere from acceptable to great.
Visitors mentioned that the hotel could use quite a bit of cleaning. They cite issues such as dirty walls and carpets, stained furniture, overflowing public garbage cans and an overall lack of cleanliness. Others commented on wrinkled sheets, cobwebs on air conditioners and stained bathrooms. In short, a deep clean from bottom to top would be in order based on visitors' remarks.
Guests commented that the hotel is looking pretty old. Visitors mentioned things such as doors that would lock or close completely and sinks that leak. Others cited tub surrounds that are pulling from the wall and bedspreads with cigarette burns. Thermostats that didn't work properly and toilets that continually run were also issues. Essentially, the hotel needs a considerable amount of maintenance.
