It's lovely interacting with staff that show a genuine interest in helping you achieve a fantastic vacation. Whether providing directions and maps, assisting with tickets, or putting together romantic touches such as flowers and chocolates, they're always a delight to deal with.
Breakfast is ample, filling, and expertly prepared, providing a great perk to waking up here. The free desserts given each night are well appreciated and just as delicious and pleasing to the eyes as the morning meal. They're a nice touch to the start and end of each day of your stay.
Spiderwebs and dust piles are evident, which is a sharp disappointment to the comforts this hotel presents. Housekeeping needs to be more consistent, and pay more attention to every part of the rooms and bathrooms for thorough cleaning.
The Eight Gables Inn does such a fantastic job of being a peaceful de-stressing environment that some guests find that a negative! It would be better if there were more amenities, and a greater sense of lively energy.
