The Schönbrunn Palace is ten-minutes' walk away through the park and Schoenbrunn Zoo is a 12-minute walk away. There is also a local market on Sundays which is a short walk from the hotel.
The hotel provides clean and comfortable no-frills accommodation at an affordable price. Guests described the rooms as spacious, well presented and clean with large comfortable beds. A reasonably priced breakfast is also offered on the fifth floor which has a balcony with lovely views of the area.

Although it is set in a residential area, guests reported that it can be noisy due to the sound of traffic and may disturb light sleepers in particular. For a quieter stay, guests recommended that you request a room facing towards the park.
Guests reported that the hotel is old and outdated in appearance and is overdue for refurbishment. The carpets in particular were singled out for complaint as they are worn and stained. Guests also reported that the reception area smells unpleasantly of cigarette smoke.
Guests warned that the property is not equipped with air conditioning which may be uncomfortable during summer when the rooms are prone to getting hot.
