Located in Zona Dorada, El Presidente Acapulco is a beachfront hotel near the Acapulco International Centre. This laid-back hotel also overlooks Acapulco Bay. The 160 smoke-free guestrooms are air conditioned and are uniquely furnished. These include a cable television, a phone, and a private bathroom with free toiletries. Maid service is performed daily. Guests can go for a swim in one of the two outdoor pools, splash with the kids in the children's pool, and make use of the laundry facilities on site. There is also a kid's club on the premises, and water skiing is nearby. El Presidente Acapulco features three restaurants, all of which offer different cuisine. There is a poolside bar, and room service is available during select hours of the day and evening. Acapulco Golf Club is a five-minute walk away from the hotel, and both Diana the Huntress and Delfines Paradise are just over a ten-minute walk down the road.

The hotel is right on the beach in Acapulco, meaning there is no shortage of fun activities to do here including swimming and surfing. The rest of the city is also easy to access. Even if you're not planning to go to the beach, you can still enjoy beautiful views of the bay from the hotel.
The staff at the hotel is polite and treats the guests well. They'll do their best to help where they can. The food served at the hotel is also quite delicious. The best part is the bar by the pool where you can order something to eat while enjoying the view.
The elevators only go up to the 11th floor. If you get a room on the 12th floor, you'll have to tackle a few stairs. The elevators are also very slow during normal operations.
Despite the ideal location, this hotel is in dire need of renovation. Most of the things inside are in bad shape. The air-conditioning units are ineffective against the heat, and the plumbing is faulty too. The furniture and the rest of the hotel look like they've seen better days. Even the towels need to be replaced.
There are cockroaches inside the rooms. This is in keeping with the poor state of the hotel, but it also presents additional health concerns.
