Paseo del Mediterráneo, 257, 04638, Mojacar, Spain
While not descried as being very large, guests were clearly surprised by the lovely garden areas at the hotel. They felt, perhaps, that these sort of charming areas were unusual for a beachfront hotel, where designers typically choose to use the space differently.
positive:
Unbeatable beachfront location
Of course guests had come to this part of Spain for their holidays mainly for one reason - the beach. So they were very satisfied that the object of their travels was right across the road, and involved no hassle at all to get to.
positive:
Lots of little places to relax
While not all described as full lounges, guests mentioned that there were a lit of little nooks and crannies around the hotel to socialise, or even just relax with a good book. It all seemed very cosy and agreeable.
Negative Reviews
negative:
In need of renovation
While not usually entirely unhappy with the property, quite a number of guests mentioned that it wasn't completely looking its best. Many identified various maintenance issues that hadn't been property seen to - peeling paint, broken fixtures and so on. They felt it needed a bit of work to get it back in tip top shape.
negative:
Very hard beds
While it is very common to find complaints about mattress comfort, since personal tastes vary so much, there were a bit more complaints in this case than most. The usual complaint was that the mattresses were “rock hard”, so those who like softer mattresses are unlikely to be happy.
negative:
Scramble for the sun loungers
Guests mention that, like many hotels, El Puntazo seems to have failed to provide enough sun loungers for the number of guest accommodated. Also, quite a number of them were said to be broken.
