Each suite consists of a bedroom with separate living area, sofa bed, fridge, coffeemaker, microwave and two televisions. The giant shopping mall Houston Galleria is located only a short walk away from the hotel and is where you will find over 400 different stores and restaurants and even an ice rink so you can spend the whole day here. Should you wish to explore downtown Houston this is just a 15-minute drive away and boasts more stores, restaurants, bars and a number of sports stadiums.
Members of staff are all welcoming and really go out of their way to fulfil your needs and any requests you may have, additionally there are nice little touches such as giving you free bottles of water when you are leaving or giving children food to feed the swans in the lobby. They also have good knowledge of Houston and they are more than happy to give advice and recommend things to see and do in the area.
The hearty breakfast had a lot of choice such as oatmeal, pastries and fresh fruit along with a cooked option featuring all of the traditional fare such as sausage, eggs, potatoes and bacon.
There have been reports of bed linen being stained or being dirty which gives the impression that it hasn't been changed from the previous guests in the room.
Negative reviews from some previous guests have mentioned unpleasant odours coming from the bathroom especially when the shower is running and there have also been reports of issues with hot water and issues with water pressure.
The evening drinks reception only has limited drinks on offer as supplies seem to run out in the first few minutes.
