Originally an old wine estate, this 18th century farmhouse has been lovingly restored and offers today 9 guestrooms and 9 apartments. Located in the countryside of Beaucaire, on the border of Camargue and Provence, Domaine des Clos is ideally situated in the middle of the cultural triangle formed by Nîmes, Arles and Avignon. David and Sandrine Ausset welcome you with true family warmth. Charm and authenticity, were the guiding principles in their restoration of the farmhouse. Each room and apartment is unique, furnished with their family’s antiques, curios brought back from their travels, paintings which they have chosen, fabric heirlooms rehung and resewn into cushions, curtains… and a magnificent collection of Mediterranean pottery all of which seem to mix to so well with the old stone walls and terracotta. Hotel service, tradition and contemporary comfort are reunited in this peaceful setting. Space, calm and conviviality are the key to Domaine des Clos with its extensive Mediterranean garden, Nestled amongst this verdant greenery is the large swimming pool, petanque (boules) ground, barbecue ‘huts’ and shady alcoves. A small library with fireplace is also available to guests.
