The hotel's location is appreciated particularly by guests visiting the Arches or Canyonlands National Parks, as well as those just passing through. It is centrally located in Moab and you can get to the downtown shops, restaurants and stores in minutes.
You may be surprised at how spacious and large the rooms at the Rodeway Inn are. It may be a no-frills hotel, but most guests find it very comfortable and quiet – ideal for a good night's sleep. Having a microwave and refrigerator at your disposition is also a big plus.
Although many guests find that finding a reasonably priced hotel in Moab can be difficult, many also think that the value for money that the Rodeway offers is not that great. Compared to motels, which many guests would happily classify it as, it is frequently considered expensive. When you take into consideration that there is no complimentary breakfast – which is included in other rival establishments – the value seems to diminish even further.
The hotel is old. Although for many this is not really a problem, the 1970's style decor - especially in the bathrooms - the aging fittings and small TVs tarnish the experience for others.
Whilst many members of staff are pleasant and courteous, it appears others let down the reputation of the establishment. Guests complain that certain staff are downright rude and impolite and need to respect their customers more.
