Visitors note that the hotel has a good, central location in downtown Anchorage that makes it easy to walk to a number of places weather permitting. The Anchorage Museum is a two-minute walk from the hotel while Anchorage 5th Avenue Mall can be reached in five minutes on foot.
The employees at the property are extremely warm and friendly plus they do a great job of making you feel as if you are at home according to guests. Visitors add the staff is pretty responsive in dealing with any issues as well.
Travelers state that the accommodations at the hotel are spacious and very well equipped. In addition to the normal amenities such as a TV with cable and free Wi-Fi, there is also a full kitchen including a stove, microwave and refrigerator. Cutlery and cookware can also be borrowed from the front desk.
The hotel offers on-site parking but it is not free to use. A few guests say that not only is it bad enough that you have to pay to park, but the parking lot doesn't have enough spaces for everyone. Metered parking is available on the street in front of the hotel.
