If you are looking for a hotel with lots of faults … step inside! If you want one where members of staff, (well most of them), go well beyond the call of duty to cover some cavernous cracks in the set up … this is the place for you! Problems with regard to a misunderstanding as to room requirements, number of beds etc; are sorted before you know it.

There are smoking and non-smoking rooms here, but even the smoking rooms don’t smell of smoke. Similarly, in this pet-friendly establishment, you’ll usually have difficulty sniffing out an animal related smell. Great news!

There’s no daily cleaning rota here and they only attempt to clean the room if you’re here for a week or more. Similarly, towels go unchanged – but, just ask and if you need them, clean towels are provided promptly.

There’s very little that’s good in the room. Bed linen is dirty –obviously not changed after the last guest departed – and the front desk solution is to give you a fresh set so that you can embark on a DIY exercise! There’s a similar situation with filthy carpets. Rather than send inefficient cleaning staff to rectify their own error, your 'flabber' will be 'ghasted' when they offer to ‘rent’ you a vacuum cleaner. These rooms will give anyone the blues!

Have a lie-in or go somewhere else – but you’d be ill-advised to extend any effort in attending breakfast here.

You need to consult a technical man to get access to the WiFi and this doesn’t happen until they’ve exhausted all possibility of getting you to invest in the much faster upgrade.
