There is much to do at Fairways & Bluewater Newcoast Resort for guests of all ages. There are a variety of swimming pools, one of which faces the beautiful beach, that are never overcrowded. A golf course is located on-site and there are tons of cozy little nooks, both inside and outside the hotel, where you can relax with a book or watch the sunset. .
Guests reported that everything, including restaurants, shops and attractions, are located in close proximity to the hotel. There is a free shuttle that can take guests to many points around town and although the location is very central, guests reported that it is far enough away from the crowds to feel remote.
The guest rooms at this hotel are very clean and have comfortable beds and furnishings. Guests reported that the living area is spacious and comfortable and is the perfect place to relax after a long day at the beach or exploring. .
Guests reported a number of issues with the guest rooms including malfunctioning air conditioning, tattered furniture, a moldy smell, dirty windows and burnt out lights. Also reported was low water pressure and unstable water temperature in the showers, a shortage of towels and broken appliances. .
Meals served at Fairways & Bluewater Newcoast Resort are of poor quality. Guests reported a lot of canned items and much of the other items are drenched in oil and dressings. Also reported was small servings and very slow service. .
There is a karaoke bar located very close to the hotel and guests reported that the singing starts in the evenings and goes until the wee hours of the morning and can be heard very clearly in the guest rooms. .
