Enjoy the lake view from the 360 degree wrap around porch, sitting at the fire pit, or even from the boathouse dock. Take your favorite book or your kids to the town beach located practically next door; there are lifeguards and a swimming platform most of the summer. In the fall kayak or canoe from the dock, or launch your 10hp fishing boat from the state launch down the road. For licensed fishermen and women there is great fishing to be had. Four out of five bedrooms have lake views. There is one full bath with a claw foot soaking tub and the other full bath has a standup shower. Completely renovated galley kitchen has granite counter tops, hardwood floors, a full sized refrigerator, a dishwasher, a gas stove with built in griddle, a gas oven, and a farm sink. The house is a turn of the century Victorian with many original details preserved.\r\nThe Town of Saranac Lake is within walking distance and Lake Placid is about 20 minutes by car.
