About Gargia Lodge

Only 30 minutes from Alta city centre, between the arctic tundra and the arctic sea you will find Gargia Lodge, close to nature, and is the perfect place to start your arctic adventure. Gargia Lodge offers activities such as snowmobiling, snowshoe hiking with icefishing, Northern Light tours and sled dog tours during winter. If Northern Lights is on your bucket list this is one of the places to see them, sorrounded by silence and close to nature. During summer we offer mountain bike rental, hiking tour to a nearby waterfall Orrvos and to Northern Europes largest canyon; Sautso Canyon. In the main house you will find a shared lounge with books, board games and puzzles. We have a fully licensed bar, a small souvenir shop and our in house restaurant. Enjoy a relaxing moment in our outdoor Jacuzzis. All our rooms are equipped with modern facilities and has private bathroom with shower. Free wifi is available in all rooms and common areas. We keep you close to nature, to adventures and to us.
