Unfortunately, some guests mention that the tranquil atmosphere of the Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen Resort is interrupted on occasion by music coming from nearby beach bars and clubs. It's understood that Hyatt are working with the beach club on this issue.
There's no escaping it - breakfast might be big but at this 5-star hotel it doesn't come at a cheap price.
A very small handful of guests have mentioned that seaweed at the beach was an issue, although efforts are made to minimise it.
