The reportedly welcoming and friendly staff members at the GuestLodge were a highlight for many past guests. In addition, the service provided by the hotel was generally observed as really attentive and accommodating.
Most former visitors were happy with the location of the hotel. Centrally situated in West Dennis, the accommodation is seen as convenient for visiting points of interest in Cape Cod. Furthermore, the hotel is apparently in a peaceful and quiet area.
The GuestLodge’s outdoor swimming pool was well received by those that made use of the facility during their stay. Along with being considered clean and well-maintained, the pool was said to be a nice place to relax when residing at the hotel.
As well as being described as outdated, the rooms at the GuestLodge were considered to be hot and stuffy at times by past visitors. Whilst the motel’s air conditioning units were said to combat the latter issue to an extent, they were also said to be loud and not the most effective on occasion.
Whilst a somewhat unique situation, smell has proven to be a problem for numerous former guests that have stayed at the motel. Although they were regarded as really clean in general, the rooms were also said to possess an unpleasant odor.
With little else other than coffee and a typical small selection of pastries, the complimentary breakfast was regularly judged negatively by previous visitors to the GuestLodge.
