Hacienda Tres Rios is an all-inclusive five-star resort featuring a concierge services, a full-service spa and complimentary self-parking. The hotel is located three miles from El Camaleon Golf Club. Guestroom amenities include air conditioning, a minibar, satellite TV, a laptop compatible in-room safe, a furnished balcony and a private shower-only bathroom. Hacienda Tres Rios features a white sand beach where guests are provided with sun loungers for free and cabanas at a surcharge. Two outdoor swimming pools, a health club, fitness facilities, a lazy river and a business center are also onsite. The resort has six restaurants and two poolside bars and three lounges. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served every morning and 24-hour room service is provided. Guests can enjoy a wide variety of onsite recreational activities such as a Segway tour, beach yoga, snorkeling and guided kayak tours. The resort is four miles from Maroma Adventures activity center.

The hotel is very well maintained. The rooms are very clean and have windows that open. The furnished balconies and spacious living rooms found in each room were a great joy to many. Bathrooms have excellent powerful showers and are sufficiently roomy.
With plenty of recreational activities, guests can relax and be pampered at the lovely spa. They can also access the beautiful outdoor pools or go kayaking. Organized children’s activities are available to keep everyone well entertained. The hotel offers good value for money as everything you need is within a reasonable distance.
Guests found the front desk to be adequately staffed and their checking in and checking out processes was handled in a speedy and efficient way. Most of the employees are bilingual and speak both Spanish and English.
A few guests who had booked rooms near the main pool complained about the high noise levels they experienced during their stay at the hotel. They felt the rooms had very thin walls and noise carries easily from room to room.
A majority of guests found the meals to be subpar and having a lot to be desired. Some were of the opinion that the food’s quality was inferior while others thought the selection was not as varied as was expected.
The hotel offers inroom free Wi-Fi but the speed is quite slow especially if you want to do heavy browsing or stream videos online. Some weren’t pleased with the Wi-Fi service in their rooms during their stay here.
