Hacienda Venecia Main House

Hacienda Main House has a hundred years of history. The architecture shows a traditional Bahareque construction, typical of the period of Antioquian colonisation, consisting of bamboo and clay walls with red tiled roofs. Three of the six rooms in the house have private bathrooms, and the rest share two bathrooms. Aside from the beautiful gardens with fruit trees which surround the terrace and outside pool, the house has three shared areas (balcony, lounge and bamboo quiosco with a games room), a dining room, open kitchen, complimentary coffee and water bar as well as a honesty bar. Hacienda Venecia offers an authentic experience of the culture of the region, and that goes for the food as well! Start the day with the house breakfast, accompanied by fresh fruit and Hacienda Venecia coffee from the own coffee farm. For lunch you can try local specialties like frijoles, ajiaco and sancocho. A 3-course home-cooked dinner is served at the end of the day, always accompanied by fresh juice. These dishes are lovingly prepared with skill and dedication by local women to afford a special experience to the guests of the Hacienda. Daily guided coffee tours can be organized.
