With Kohl's Department Stores and JC Penney along with Fabco and many others having their offices nearby, it is the perfect location for business travelers. Being located near the highway and with lots of eating joints also around, it is the ideal resting place.
As with most Hampton properties, the staff is excellent and very friendly with the guests. Instances where guests have forgotten their belongings behind to be returned back immediately by the staff, reinforces that belief.
The highly affordable prices have been a pleasant surprise for many travelers. Guests get the Hampton experience at a very low cost here. Hampton Inn Milwaukee-Northwest is clean and well-kept and offers a very comfortable stay.
The hotel is old and it shows with the carpeting, elevators and lobby having a weary dull look with tiles missing at certain places too. The room and the hotel furniture as well as furnishings also appear to be old and need an overhaul.
Some guests have encountered the pool and hot tub out of service which lowered their experience at the Hampton Inn Milwaukee-Northwest. However, such incidents are usually due to maintenance and highly unfortunate.
There have guest complaints about smoke smell in the non-smoking rooms, noise from the expressway in rooms on that side. Lack of microwave and refrigerator has also been mentioned by a lot of guests who had even booked rooms with those amenities.
