Guests were very impressed by the attitude of the staff members. Specifically, they said the employees were consistently polite and willing to go out of their way to accommodate. Because of these characteristics, many guests said they felt treated especially well and would not hesitate to return.
Although a few guests said they would have liked to be closer to downtown, most were content enough to use the complimentary shuttle service offered by the hotel. It'll take you to three of Charleston's streets that have lots of things to do, so you're not likely to get bored.
Guests had good things to say about the condition of their rooms. They found them to be well maintained and very tidy. There were frequent comments that the rooms seemed new, which made guests feel very comfortable.
Occasionally, guests expressed the opinions that they wish there was more to do around the hotel, or that it would be easier to walk to the historical parts of Charleston. If you do not have a car during your travels, you'll probably be particularly grateful for the shuttle.
Some guests got frustrated when trying to figure out how to enter the hotel while in their cars. They felt the signage was not adequate, and that people who aren't already familiar with the hotel's location will be at a disadvantage, even when using a GPS.
Breakfast comes at a fee, and some guests felt that the cost was too much based on what was offered. However, guests who chose to pay the price usually said the taste was good.
