One of the first things guests did in their reviews was to compliment the hotel’s staff. While they did find them to be welcoming and friendly, what most seemed to impress was that they were clearly full engaged in their jobs. Guests felt that any issue left with then would get the due consideration, rather than be forgotten about.
The majority of guests commenting on the breakfast were quite happy with it, saying it offered sufficient variety to allow them to construct a decent breakfast that would set them up for the day.
As late as June 2016, the hotel was still undergoing a major renovation. Guests mentioned that it did affect their stay in small ways, by making moving through the property a bit awkward and generating its share of dust and dirt.
A number of guests were quire unhappy with their state of cleanliness of their room on check in. They felt that the cleaning had been very slapdash, and that the room was not clean enough to be released for occupation.
Guests in rooms facing the interstate mentioned that they could easily hear the sound of cars and trucks going by. This was, of course, a problem at night when they were trying to sleep.
