The famous Texan hospitality shone through at this hotel with a number of previous guests making specific mention of the friendly and hospitable staff, who went out of their way to make their stay unforgettable.

A number of previous guests who booked executive rooms were pleasantly surprised at the service and amenities provided in the executive lounge during their stay. Many commented that the breakfast provided was super tasty.

A number of guests were fortunate enough to have excellent views of the lake during their stay from their rooms, and made specific mention of this as the highlight of their stay at the hotel.

Some guests mentioned in their reviews that they felt that the standard of overall maintenance at the hotel was slipping. Common complaints included light fittings dangling from ceilings, exposed wires, broken furniture and air-conditioning units breaking down.

Whilst some reviews called for a complete renovation to the hotel, a number of guest reviewers zeroed-in on the poor state of the bathrooms suggesting that if there were to be any renovations, in the near future, that the renovators could start with the bathrooms, which they felt were old and dingy and in need of urgent repair.

A number of guests who chose to dine at the on-site restaurant felt that they did so at their own peril reporting afterwards only an average experience with poor quality and less than tasty food on the menu.
