The hotel is a perfect option if you're attending an event at the neighboring convention center, but it is also a great base to explore the downtown area. Not only can you see it as well as the Coronado Island Bridge, but the hotel is actually within walking distance of the city center as well as Petco Park, the marina and the Gaslamp Quarter.
