The rooms have elegant décor and furniture and are well equipped. Business people will be happy with the work desk and ergonomic chair, as well as the fast Wi-Fi. Others may be more impressed with the large flat screen TV with cable channels and the more practical amenities like hairdryers and alarm clocks. Aside from the lovely outdoor pool, the hotel also features a fun put-put course and an exercise room where guests can continue their workout routine uninterrupted. The Holiday Inn Bar and Grill is just off the main lobby and serves breakfast and dinner, as well as a range of drinks. Golfers can arrange a round at the Dothan Country Club, just 2.5 miles from the hotel. Downtown Dothan is three miles away.

Guests were clearly impressed with the level of cleanliness they witnessed during their stay. They reported that both their room and the public areas of the hotel were not only kept spotlessly clean, but were also very well maintained. There were no signs of wear and tear one often sees at hotels.
Guests really seemed to like the hotel’s location, right on Ross Clark Circle. They found that it was convenient being a bit out of the city center. It made travel that much faster, since they didn’t have congested city streets to contest with.
Guests mentioned that, despite being so close to busy Ross Clark Circle, their rooms were actually remarkably quiet. They speculated that the windows must be double or triple glazed with effective soundproofing.
There were a few too many guests who reported run-ins with the reception staff for comfort. There were many specific complaints, but the upshot of all of them was that guests did not believe that they were very keen on doing their job, and were uninterested in their guest’s needs.
Many guests were bitterly disappointed to discover that the breakfast at the hotel is not free. While breakfast is available at a price, some guests reckoned they could get much better value at one of the nearby chain restaurant, like Waffle House.
A number of guests mentioned that not only did the restaurant close quite early, which was more or less bearable, but the bar closed at the same early hour. They found this absurd, and it meant that if they wanted a late night drink they needed to go out or, rather depressingly, have one in their room.
