Guests really liked being so close to the interstate. Going by the reviews, it seems that many were on road trips, and using the hotel for a quick stopover. The location made it very easy to quickly get on and off the highway.
Guests reported that, despite being so close to the interstate, their rooms were havens of peace and quiet. The windows seemed to be of the high-quality soundproof type. Some also commented on the curtains, which were said to offer blackout conditions. This only added to the sense of tranquility.
Guests really liked the modern interior design scheme that the hotel uses. The whole hotel is relatively new, and guests enjoyed both the design and simply the fact that all the fixtures and fittings were new, and had not had a chance to become worn and drab.
Well, not everywhere, but certainly along the road leading to the property. Guests recounted being startled by wild turkeys running across the road when they were driving to and from the hotel, especially at night.
A number of guests mentioned that they had booked their room on a third party booking engine at a certain rate per night, only to arrive and be informed that they had to pay another (higher of course) rate. They were both upset, naturally, and confused about how there could be a misunderstanding between the booking site and the hotel about something as fundamental as the room rate.
When the hotel was really full, guests had some trouble trying to find a free parking bay, having to circle round and round like it were Black Friday at the mall.
