The complimentary breakfast offered at the hotel has delighted the guests in past with the number of options as well as their taste. They have found the breakfast service staff as extremely friendly and arm especially the chef who keeps checking to ensure that no items are missing.
The hotel is perfectly located in the Albany Area with most of the attraction just a short drive away. The Albany Airport as well as Northway is also well connected from here. There is also a spa and several restaurants and shops in the area.
The rooms are large and very comfortable to stay in. They are spotless and well maintained by the hotel staff. The room layout is great and the premium beddings ensure a good sleep.
Guests have faced several reservation problems at the hotel with their bookings not honored by the hotel. This has been most commonly seen when booking form third party vendors and guests have been left disappointed at arrival.
The hotel looks old and tired from the outside as mentioned by the guests. The hallways inside as well as other areas look cramped and in need of some refurbishments.
Guests have lamented the lack of a refrigerator and microwave in the rooms which is usually a standard feature at similar hotels. At least, a refrigerator should be present in all rooms for guest comfort.
