For people who were able to stay in one of the renovated rooms, they enjoyed the upgrades. They enjoyed the freshness of the rooms and the new decor.

A number of guests mentioned that they had pleasant interactions with the hotel staff. When there were situations out of the ordinary, such as someone leaving early before breakfast service, the staff did what they could to help them.

The majority of the guests said that the rooms looked and smelled clean. They added that other areas of the property also seem to be well maintained.

During certain times of the year, some guests claim that they have to pay more. While this is not unusual, some guest felt that the price was still more than they expected to pay.

Guests mentioned that the hotel, while not horrible, isn't exactly stellar either. It falls mostly in the mediocre range. Beds are okay; pool is okay; cleanliness is okay, breakfast is okay... Everything seems... okay. Some say that, as long as you don't expect any huge amenities, you won't be disappointed.

As of 2015, most people staying here didn't have an issue with construction (which is scheduled for completion in mid-2016). They mentioned work crews stop in the evening. However, some people were unaware of the construction or they found the noise to be obtrusive. Again, most guests didn't mind the renovations, however this may be an issue for you.
