Despite some traffic noise, guests have enjoyed the downtown location of this hotel. There are few attractions or dining spots that are more than a mile or so away, so these are easily walkable for most. If you don’t fancy walking, guests have reported that there are good bus and train links near the hotel.
The on-site restaurant attracts plenty of positive feedback in its own right. A few guests have found the menu a bit pricey but most describe the prices as reasonable. The menu is varied - despite the name, the restaurant offers more than burgers. Guests have found the food is of an excellent standard.
Guests tend to rate the standard of service here highly, finding the staff both friendly and professional. Very few issues are reported concerning check-in and guests have felt able to approach the staff with any questions about the hotel or the Houston area.
Although the rooms here are typically described as clean, there do appear to be a few disappointments. Guests have found the rooms small and note that standard rooms offer a limited selection of amenities. Those missed most often include microwaves and mini-fridges.
Guests haven’t been overly impressed with the in-room air-conditioning units. The most commonly reported problem is that the units are noisy but guests also occasionally find the units inefficient.
Previous guests have been rather disappointed with the parking facilities here. Those who chose to avoid the rather high fee for valet parking report that the parking lot is quite difficult to navigate. Also, it seems that the garage elevator regularly breaks down so you may face a lengthy walk.
