Well apportioned rooms
Many guests staying overnight say that they find the hotel the right place for their accommodation. The rooms are in excellent condition and the bathrooms are well maintained. Guests say that the rooms are well apportioned and have a comfortable sized bed. They appreciate the thick towels supplied in the bathrooms.
Guests remarked that the breakfast served at the hotel is very good with a variety of either a small buffet or a regular menu. They were thrilled with the Fat Tuesday Bar concept of the hotel where guests were served a complimentary small buffet and drinks on a Tuesday evening. Guests say they found the hotel made for a very pleasant trip and they would recommend it to anyone visiting the Mayaguez area.
Some guests were troubled by disturbing noise at the hotel. The grass cutter was used very early in the mornings and on complaining, the management said that the person to do the job was available only at that time. Speakers at the pool side were quite loud and guests wished that it could have been a bit less intrusive.
Cleanser scent too strong
Many guests found the scent of the cleanser used in the hotel overbearing and very strong. They had to resort to covering their nose and holding their breath every time they walked from the elevator to their rooms.
The Wi-Fi at the hotel was spotty and many guests who had to catch up on their work in their rooms could not connect to it.
