The hotel is centrally located and offers good value, and you can reach Mahkota and Jonker within ten-minutes. The hotel is clean and furnished with modern décor. The gym is full equipped with three treadmills and weights. Complimentary toiletries are provided like toothbrushes, shaving cream and more. The rain shower in the bathroom is soothing too. You get your money's worth.

Check-in and check-out goes smoothly for the most part. The security at the car park is good and the concierge service is top-notch.

Staff are professional and highly attentive. For example, if you have an issue with housekeeping, one phone call is all it takes. They also assist with restaurant reservations and transport arrangements in a peaceful manner.

Though the location is near the city center, to get there you have to play a game of "dash across the street." The road has no traffic lights or pedestrian crossing, and they drive fast! You have to decide if it's worth the risk. There is another route under an extremely dirty traffic bridge, but do the smart thing and take advantage of the free shuttle service the hotel provides to Jonker Street and the mall.

Nearly every meal is decent, but lacking in choice. For instance, one dish will include identical seasonings such as brown marinated lamb, chicken, and BBQ beef, all with similar color and taste. Just boring and uneventful.

Though the staff are professional and non-offending, they appear impersonal. There's no casual conversation for example. However, they are pleasant and this may simply be a cultural characteristic.
