Guests were very pleased by the service they received from the staff members. Judging by their feedback, you can expect staff to be efficient, friendly and able to give plenty of tips about how to best enjoy your stay in the area.
Guests liked the central location of this property. They appreciated how close is is to Crown Casino and said it was very handy to be able to use several tram stops near the hotel. Many guests also arrived at the hotel by rail and bus and said the connections for both modes of transport were convenient.
Guests thought the hotel's breakfast was very tasty. They liked the amount of variety in the food served, and thought the breakfast staff did a good job at maintaining the area so it was a pleasant place to start their days.
Guests thought the rooms looked very tired and were especially critical of the bathroom. They said the bathroom fixtures and overall layout looked very old. Guests also commented that the colour scheme in the rooms made it look drab and old-fashioned.
Guests were not happy about finding out that they had to become members of the hotel's loyalty club in order to get free Wi-Fi. They complained that free Wi-Fi should be a standard amenity in hotels that are as well known as the Holiday Inn chain, and didn't like being put through the hassle of being part of the loyalty club.
