This hotel is just a 15 minute walk from the extremely popular Downtown Disney as well as the Disney park entrance at the only place where the Monorail stops outside the park itself. The Monorail conveniently transports guests directly into the park making this hotel extremely well located for guests interested in enjoying the Disney theme parks.
Being so close to the Disneyland Resort, the majority of guests staying at this hotel were there to visit the Disney parks. Taking full advantage of this, the Holiday Inn & suites Anaheim include Disney themed rooms with Minnie and Mickey, Frozen, Star Wars and other great options available. Guests with children have especially appreciated this.
Guests at this hotel have been treated incredibly well. There have been reviews stating that on some occasions they did not even ask the staff for what they needed but, by way of observation, the staff delivered and it was just what the guest required.
Although the fireworks display at the Disney Resort is spectacular, the hotel is very close by and so to guests who are not there to enjoy the fireworks, but instead to get a good night sleep, this can be a bit of an inconvenience.
It is just a minor detail but there have been complaints about the air-conditioners used. They are loud and guests have had to force themselves to accept the noise in order to fall asleep. A simple update on these amenities will rectify this.
When booking, there are a few packages that include a breakfast at the hotel. Some of the guests who have opted for this have said that they would have probably found a better breakfast elsewhere.
