The staff makes you feel at home
A warm, helpful and dedicated staff welcomes you at check-in and is there for the duration of your stay. They are happy to accommodate most any request and they can point you in the direction of places to eat and the most popular local attractions.
Pets are welcome
It's great that this hotel welcomes pets, especially for those who like to travel with their favorite four-legged friends. Fees and restrictions may apply to this amenity.
There are smoking rooms here
Homewood Suites by Hilton Charleston-Mt. Pleasant offers both non-smoking and smoking rooms. This is quite evident, because when you step over the threshold of a room that has housed smokers in the past, the acrid, stale smell of second-hand smoke is hard to miss. If this is a problem for you, be sure to state your preference for a non-smoking room upon booking, and then again at check-in.
The studios are small
The studios at this hotel are pretty small which is fine if you're traveling alone. But if that is not the case or you have a lot of luggage in tow, or need extra room to maneuver, it's probably best to upgrade to a one-bedroom suite.
Things can get noisy
If you are looking for a quiet stay, be sure to request a room well away from the elevators which are loud and invasive. Also, try to get a room that is far away from the pool as the voices of those enjoying the water can become intrusive.
