The Grand Hyatt New York is a four-star highrise hotel located on East 42nd Street, next to Grand Central Station. Its Midtown location provides easy access to many of New York's major attractions, including the Empire State Building, Times Square, and the Broadway theater district. The Chrysler Building and Park Avenue both are in the hotel's immediate neighbourhood. Other attractions, including Central Park and the Statue of Liberty, are a bit further afield. The Hyatt offers over 1300 guestrooms, ranging from standard rooms (one king bed or two doubles) to upscale suites with separate sitting rooms and enhanced furnishings. Standard amenities include TV and stereo, individual AC/heat controls, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, in-room safe, and work desks geared toward the needs of the business traveler (e.g., high-speed Internet, voicemail, extra dataport).
