The staff at this hotel try their best to extend a warm welcome to everyone who stays at this hotel no matter what time of the day or night they arrive. They are polite and courteous but most importantly they do their jobs right.
The rooms are well maintained at this hotel, and there are a lot of guests that feel that the sofas are the best feature. Some rooms have microwaves, but you usually have to ask for one to be sent up to the room. Great value for money.
The breakfast is delicious and varied, but it's the 24-hour Gallery Menu that is a big hit with guests. Even though the menu is limited, the food is nice and tasty, and it's available anytime of the day or night. The only drawback is that you have to pick it up.
This hotel isn't too far from downtown or the airport, but the area that it is in is very quiet. There is nothing to do around the area so you'd best arrive by car. It's not too bad for a stopover but not for an extended stay.
Perhaps the musty smells in the rooms are from the air con units. They are getting a little old and need to be replaced or a given a good cleaning. Either way it's not a pleasant smell to encounter when first entering your room.
The shuttle service is supposed to be 24-hour, but some guests have been left waiting for quite some time. The hotel will reimburse you the taxi fare if need be but if you advertise a shuttle service, then it should be available.
