Hyatt Regency Columbus is really well positioned, in that it is close to pretty much everything you will want to see in the area. Most places are within comfortable walking distance. The Nationwide Arena is nearby, as is the Columbus Museum of Art. There are several theaters in the vicinity and plenty of places to eat and drink.
The staff at this hotel are really friendly and very courteous. Their attention to detail is impressive and it feels as though they genuinely care about your enjoyment and satisfaction during your stay. If you need some information about the area, then they have good local knowledge.
Guestrooms and public areas display an excellent level of cleanliness and everything feels updated and fresh. The beds are comfortable too.
If you are planning on taking your car to Hyatt Regency Columbus, then be warned, the valet service is rather expensive and not always the most efficient. It can take quite some time to retrieve your vehicle, especially when there are big events in the area.
The walls seem thin The soundproofing at this hotel doesn't feel particularly good. If people in adjoining rooms are being noisy, then there is a good chance you will hear them quite clearly. You might want to bring some earplugs if you are a light sleeper.
Some of the guestrooms at this hotel are quite small and a few of them are oddly shaped. Similarly, the fitness room is pretty tiny, as is the pool.
