Idube Game Reserve

Situated in the world renowned Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve. Air and road transfers available. 115km from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. The spacious rooms are individually decorated with an en-suite bathroom and an outdoor shower. Each chalet has high ceilings, air-conditioning and overhead fans, safe and tea/coffee making facilities. Set in indigenous gardens shaded by knobthorns and majestic jackelberries, this small exclusive lodge accommodates 18 guests in luxury chalets. There are a number of viewing platforms around the camp where guests can watch game in their natural habitat, or they can laze around the naturally landscaped boulder pool, watching birds. This is always a pleasure, as there is a wide variety of species to be seen and identified. Game viewing at Idube is exceptional and includes the ‘Big Five’, seen at close quarters. Meals are an important part of the day at Idube, when guests and rangers are able to exchange anecdotes and experiences of the days activities, while enjoying superb meals. Dinner is served either in the boma or the bush camp, lit only by lanterns, firelight and the overhead stars, creating an ambience that is uniquely African.
