Guests were pleased to find that they were within walking distance of many local landmarks including museums and galleries as well as being a short distance away from the Pier. Those who wanted to sample the local bars and cafes appreciated having lots of local amenities on their doorstep.
The hotel lobby proved a popular spot with guests looking to relax as it was described as nicely decorated and having a pleasant atmosphere. Comfortable chairs and sofas on the front porch attracted many who wanted to enjoy a few drinks whilst admiring the views. Those keen on soaking up the rays chose to spend their leisure time sun bathing on the poolside loungers. .
Guests said that they felt at ease and well looked after for the duration of their stay. The front desk staff offered helpful tips and advice with regards to the local area and guests who had issues and requests said they were satisfied with the way in which they were handled. .
The bathrooms have been described as quite small and cramped with guests stating that they had very little room to move around and also objected to having nowhere to place their toiletries. .

The outdoor-pool was said to be rather small and just about adequate for a dip but not large enough for swimming. Some guests also objected to the fact that the pool lacks privacy as it is close to a low wall overlooking a public sidewalk. .
