Situated in central Santa Fe, the Inn and Spa at Loretto is a moment's walk from dozens of popular attractions. You can wander to the Plaza for a bite or enjoy the galleries and museums situated around it and its historic Spanish architecture.
Although located right in the midst of Santa Fe's active downtown, guests found the hotel to be comfortable and peaceful, with well insulated walls and a generally low-key neighborhood. It's the perfect spot to enjoy the city's low-key ambiance.
Although the hotel offers a range of different room size options, some guests found the basic to midsized rooms somewhat closed off. Coupled with a darker décor, some guests felt confined by their quarters. For a larger space, you can ask for an upgrade.
Some guests found the paid parking and other little fees irritating. Others thought that the amenities and spa services were underwhelming for the cost. Of course, when staying in a centrally located hotel in a tourist mecca, you should expect a little higher range of prices.
Free wireless internet is never a bad thing, as long as you can successfully link to it. Several prior guests have mentioned that they had problems with signal strength and maintaining a connection in their rooms. If you need a steady connection, you may want to bring a hot spot.
