About Inn History Tombstone

Located 300 feet from the heart of town, close to all attractions and events. Wedding Services available, easy access to all areas of interest in Cochise County. We are a Haunted Motel and have many sightings reported. The original Adobe building started as a Livery Stable in 1879, later converted to a Lumber Yard, then converted into living quarters, which became a motel about 1930. The New buildings were constructed and completed in 2006. Visit a Real Living Historic Western Town one of the few towns left to visit in the country. You will walk the same streets that Wyatt Earp, Doc Holiday, and the Clanton's walked on and maybe stay in a room, in the building where they kept their Horse's. Jeep tours available, and Horseback Riding Stables available with guides.Ghost Tours are available from many locations in town. The Budget Host Inn Tombstone is located on the corner of Fremont Street (Hwy 80 ) and Fifth Street. We are only 23 miles from historic Bisbee and its Lavender Pit (Open Pit Copper Mine), which is the location of the first JC Penny's store. The world famous Kartchner Caverns State Park is located in Benson, only 25 miles away.
