The hotel is situated at the beach, which offers crystal-clear waters and pristine sand without having to worry about algae or seaweed interfering with a relaxing walk at the beach or swim in the ocean. It is also close to the city center for exploring as well as nightlife, although it is still far enough from the latter to enjoy some peace and quiet.
According to guests, breakfast offers a good value due to its comprehensive selection of hot and cold items.
The hotel underwent renovation in 2014, and guests comment that the improvement clearly paid off, as all rooms are well-equipped with modern TVs and cozy beds. They also love the clean, marble pool area, which offers ample lounge chairs to relax in.
While Wi-Fi is free in the business center, guests state that the charge for in-room service is too expensive, especially since the signal keeps dropping frequently.
Some guests noticed a weird odor in the bathroom as well as cigarette smoke in the room, which probably could have been handled with some additional cleaning and air fresheners. Others reported that housekeeping forgot to provide new towels and left the bathrooms less than immaculate.
Guests have to choose between free valet parking, which usually requires providing a decent tip for the attendant, or free self-parking. However, several guests advised that the latter option includes a steep climb up the hill toward the hotel.
