Between the Village of Jay, and the Montgomery Center, Jay Peak Resort can be found high up on Jay Peak, and in the Green Mountains. Each of the suites at this resort includes a flat-screen cable TV, and a cozy fireplace. The kitchen includes a fridge and microwave, and each suite also features an iPod docking station. On-site facilities on offer include skiing and golfing, while there is also an all tear round indoor water park. Guests can enjoy the sauna and an on-site spa. There is a wide range of restaurants and pubs close by in the north town of Troy, where guests can experience fine dining, both local and international. Downtown Troy is a 16 minute drive from Jay Peak Resort, while guests will find Hazen’s Notch within a 14 mile drive from the resort.

There are so many fun amenities for both individual travelers and families, but most guests can't stop talking about all the fun they have at the water park. Most visitors will spend an entire day at the park without realizing how long they have actually been there.
Those visitors who have hosted an event at this resort have been incredibly impressed with the enormous spread of delicious snacks, but one snack seems to stand out above the rest. Guests believe that Vermont has some of the best cheeses on offer in the world.
If you want to experience Jay Peak Resort at its best, you should probably visit during the in-season months. Guests who visited during the off season have reported that the lift up the mountain was not operating, and many of the restaurants are closed.
Those guests with families have complained that the sofa beds are not all that comfortable to sleep on. Most guests just added an extra couple of blankets to the base, which made all the difference.
In these areas, during winter, there is no way you can go without the heating system, so if you are a light sleeper you will have to bring a pair of air muffs with. The heating system has woken some guests up in the middle of the night with some unusual sounds.
