Positive Reviews
positive:
Unbelievable views from the pool terrace
Of course it was the incredible views from the infinity pool that guests most liked about Kalamar. They described the infinity pool as incredible, and designed and positioned in such a way that it appeared to simply be an extension of the bay.
positive:
Very friendly and helpful staff
While there were some complaints, the majority seemed to really appreciate the attitude and level of service displayed by the staff. They were said to be very friendly, and always ready to do what was necessary to make a guest's stay a good one.
positive:
Delicious breakfast
While there were one or two complaints that it got a bit monotonous after a while, all guests agreed that the breakfast served at the hotel was very tasty, with a decent variety of foods to choose from. It really set them up for the day.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Wi-Fi is not available in the rooms
Quite a few guests expressed their disappointment that the hotel's Wi-Fi only worked in the reception area. While it did perhaps force them to get out more, they would nonetheless have preferred the convenience of in-room access.
negative:
Very far from Antalya Airport
A couple of guests mentioned that, while the resort is in a great position, it is exceptionally far from the nearest airport in Antalya - about a four hour drive. They didn't much like the long drive after an already exhausting flight.
negative:
Lots of stairs
Guests mention that the Kalamar Hotel is in an older building set on a hill. As a result, there were inevitably lots of steps leading in various directions. There is no lift, so guest will have to be prepared to negotiate many steps as they move around the property. It is unlikely to be suitable for those with any sort of mobility issue.
