The customer service at the hotel is second to none. The staff will ensure you feel right at home and like part of the family. They always strive and go out of their way to answer queries and promptly solve any concerns a customer may have. The reception staff are especially gracious, ready to lend a hand and polite.
The hotel gives reasonable prices considering its proximity to the airport. Guests can catch a flight at the Lihue Airport just a few minutes' drive from the hotel. The restaurant is fairly priced and offers its visitors a good selection of drinks and food.
The mattresses and pillows are comfortable and the bathrooms are well maintained. The kitchens are quite well equipped and have coffee and tea making facilities in place. Other appliances like kettle and toasters are also available.
Some guests were put off by the very little hot water that was available. During the hotel's peak activity hours, such as in the early morning, hot water ran out very quickly. The showering area is also quite small and difficult to manoeuvre easily in.
Many guests complained about the thin walls. It was noted that noise carried easily from room to room and this was a key problem especially for those who had to get up early in the morning and couldn't fall asleep.
Some guests have expressed their frustrations with the air conditioning units in the rooms. Common complaints were with regard to the inability to maintain a constant temperature and also the loud noise produced while they were running.
