Many guests loved that they were right in the middle of all the entertainment the Kemah Boardwalk has to offer. The hotel also offers priority seating to restaurants and discounted tickets to boardwalk attractions, making it an even better deal if you want to explore everything offered. Free parking is convenient and the boardwalk has a safe feel to it, so you do not need to worry when you enjoy your night out.
Guests rave about the rooms that offer a water channel view. Using your balcony you have an excellent view of ships that are coming and going. The rooms are clean and spacious, same is true for the bathrooms. The hotel has a boathouse theme to go with the boardwalk environment.
Many guests liked the helpful and courteous staff that checked them in or answered questions. They can help you in exploring the nearby attractions and take advantage of the special perks of being a guest at this hotel.
Some guests did not enjoy the activities that go on at the boardwalk stage, which can go on till about 11 pm. The hotel warns guests of this and you may enjoy the free concerts and entertainment but might not get an early night unless you can sleep through noise.
Some guests felt that being limited to restaurants on the boardwalk and just a snack machine in the hotel made their stay less enjoyable.
Some guests tried to use the business center and apparently it only has space for one person so is more of a computer station. If you plan to work on a computer you might want to consider bringing your own.
